"We started Cool Retreat because we wanted to experience the cool weather, breathe crisp mountain air, and enjoy the beautiful nature of Bukit Tinggi while sharing the simple pleasures of highland living with others."

As your live-in hosts, Uncle Vincent & Aunty Chris stay in a separate private room on the ground floor and are always happy to welcome guests, offer local recommendations, or assist whenever needed, while fully respecting your privacy.

For Vincent and Chris, Cool Retreat is not about escaping life, but about slowing down, de-stressing, recovering, and rejuvenating both body and mind. More than just a place to stay, it's a welcoming mountain retreat where genuine hospitality, peaceful surroundings, and meaningful moments come together.

One of the highlights of staying at Cool Retreat is enjoying simple, home-cooked meals prepared by us. Comforting, wholesome, and made with care, every dish is cooked just as we would for our own family. With mountain views and the cool highland air, every meal is an opportunity to slow down, unwind, and feel at home.

Home-cooked dinners are included exclusively with our Weekend Highland Escape package.

For all other stays, our fixed lunch and dinner menu is available for RM95 per person. Sample dishes include ginger chicken rice, curry chicken rice, steamed free-range chicken rice, fried noodles, nasi lemak, and steamboat. Photos are for illustration purposes only. The menu changes from time to time, and the dishes served may vary.
